User definable states
Define a set of item states that represent each stage in the lifecycle of an item. Customize these states to reflect your unique business processes. Set state transitions (i.e. from state … to state) to define and clearly map out the business process flow around items.
Action handlers
Set conditions for each state or state transition to define and control if selection of that specific state is allowed. Add action handlers to each state or state transition to automate routine processes, such as triggering notifications, updating related records, or initiating downstream workflows.
Workflow integration
As one of STAEDEAN’s Product Engineering apps, Item Status Management has been integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central workflow to enable item approvals directly.
